Coward’s classic comedy tells the story of socialite Charles Condomine whom, after inviting a local eccentric who claims she can communicate with the dead to host a séance, receives more than he bargained for when he finds the ghost of his first wife Elvira and his present wife fighting for him in this world as well as the next. This is the second visit by the New Century Theatre Company to Areley Kings following their successful and wonderful production of Charlie’s Aunt

What is Arts in the Hall? The Trustees are currently working with Wyre Forest District Council and a number of volunteers from the community to develop an arts programme in the building under the banner of "Arts in the Hall". It is hoped that a coordinated and varied calendar of events throughout the year will encourage local people to come watch and take part in a wonderful range of amateur and professional arts productions arts groups inthe Hall
Areley Kings Village Hall has a superb main hall, ideal for performances of all kinds.It received £50,000 from the Arts Council when it was built in 2004 to specifically fund the installation of professional lighting and sound system. The Hall has a large stage and two changing rooms.
The Hall currently welcomes productions under the Shindig programme. Shindig is Worcestershire’s programme of live arts and entertainment for community venues, hosted by voluntary promoting groups who sell tickets locally, supported by the Shindig Co-ordinator and their local authority arts officers. Touring companies and performers with regional, national and international profiles, specialising in work for small spaces, provide a wide range of theatre, dance, music, opera, storytelling, cabaret theatre, children's theatre, circus and clowning including cultural diversity work. The scheme is subsidised by Worcestershire County Council, your District, Borough or City Council and Arts Council England. Recent groups include The Cosmic Sausages, and Alexander & Lawson
